Fascinating video of a past CIA Chief of Disguise, Jonna Mendez, talking about her work.

I suspect many of the specific tactics are not valid anymore – for example, many comments on the video point out that distinctive habits mentioned about Europeans are no longer valid, likely due to global spread of American culture (sigh) – but that’s likely why she’s able to talk about them. The general concepts are still sound, and I suspect the techniques are much more advanced now.
