Automated copy of my Letterboxd review for Masters of the Universe (2026)

This movie was bad, but I've had to think about why exactly, because it has many elements that could've been a good movie (most of the cast, effects, soundtrack, nostalgia). I think a lot of what it comes down to is that it's written for adult men who still have a maturity level and sense of humour of kids from the 1980s, but I'm happy to have grown up since then. And the rest of the problem is Jared Leto.
