Finally watched, glad I waited, if I'd seen this when it came out I'd have been insufferable about it for years and then had nostalgia glasses every time I watched it again. It's technically good, I enjoyed the Gen X catnip soundtrack, the acting is passable, but the story falls into the "seems smarter than it is" category for me.
